Italy Claims Bombs Started Big Fires in Haifa

Italian airmen who raided Haifa, Palestine, caused wide spread damage and touched off great fires, an Italian military communique claimed today. The fires were visible for a distance of 125 miles, the communique said. The raid, the first air onslaught against a Holy Land objective, was carried out yesterday morning.
