Chilean Ex-foreign Minister Cleared in Immigration Case

The Chilean Senate has voted to absolve Former ex-Foreign Minister Abraham Ortega of charges he had been involved in irregularities in connection with the immigration of refugees into Chile. In May, the Chamber of Deputies voted Ortega guilty on two counts passed the matter over to the Senate.
