Wholehearted support for the Canadian Government’s war effort was pledged today by the Mizrachi Organization of Canada at its second annual convention.
The convention, which was opened by a prayer for British victory, called upon every Canadian Jew to “concentrate all his energies upon the war effort in the realiz- ation that not only is he fulfilling his obligation as a loyal citizen but also as a member of the Jewish people.” It also resolved that “with the return of all free peoples to their homelands when the Union Jack flies high after victory, Palestine be once more reaffirmed as the national homeland for the Jewish people.”
