A pledge to support whole heatedly American short of war efforts to aid Britain was contained in one of several resolutions passed by the Junior Hadassah at its annual convention here yesterday. This resolution warned that the continuance of democracy here and in Europe may depend on the outcome of the present conflict

Other resolutions urged promotion of American social welfare legislation, adequate American rearmament to meet any threat to this country’s peace and independence, closer understanding between all countries of the Western Hemisphere, and the rescue of children of all nationalities from the war zone by United States “mercy ships.”
