William Fox bodyguard of Joseph McWilliams, organizer of the Christian Mobilizers, today was committed to Bellevue Hospital by Magistrate Edgar Bromberger in West Side Court for 10 days’ mental observation after a probation office had reported that he was a “religious maniac” with a “fixation against the Jews.” Fox was up for sentence on an assault charge arising out of a disturbance on Aug. 7 at a McWilliams meeting.

The case of McWilliams, who was also up on an assault charge was adjourned until tomorrow.
