Vichy to Set Rules for Individual Naturalization of Algerian Jews

Special rules will be formulated for the individual naturalization of Algerian Jews deprived of their French citizenship by the government’s revocation of the 1870 Cremieux Law, according to a decree published today. The decree excludes Algerian Jews from the general law for the naturalization of the native Algerian population.
