Great progress in introduction of Christian elements into trade was reported by Commerce Minister Vargo addressing the parliamentary trade commission.

He declared reorganization of the sugar, oil, timber and potato trades would soon be completed and the most important branches of foreign trade were already in Christian hands. He announced that special credits would be furnished to new Christian traders.
