The Greek consul-general in Jerusalem has announced registration for national service of all Greeks under the age of 40 living in Palestine, according to a London radio broadcast picked up by CBS here today.

All men between 20 and 30 will be conscripted immediately, the consul said. Volunteers between 30 and 40 will also be accepted. Greek reserve officers up to the age of 40 living in Palestine are also being called up.

At the outbreak of the Italian-Greek war several hundred Greek nationals living in the Holy Land had voluntarily called at the consulate to declare their readiness to serve the Greek cause.
