Jew Risks Life to Save British Airman

Joseph Horovitch of Blackpool risked his life in an unsuccessful attempt to save a drowning British airman, it was revealed today. Horovitch repeatedly plunged into the heavy sea until he finally lost consciousness. He was later picked up by a lifeboat and removed to the hospital.

Meanwhile, the Glasgow Jewish Board of Guardians has contributed £1,000 toward the local war weapons week campaign.
