A demand for “land instead of doles” was voiced at a conference of the Workers’ Agricultural Council at Kfar Saba today by Abraham Harzfeld, director of the agricultural department of the Histadruth. Harzfeld said it was wiser to divert relief funds to the purchase of land to grow food when faced with the problem of men or land unemployment.
