The War Department announced today that Col. William R. Arnold, Army Chief of Chaplains, will participate in sending a special New Year’s Day message to be broadcast to all members of the armed forces by spokesmen of the Protestant, Catholic and Jewish religious faiths. The Jewish speaker will be Rabbi David de Sola Pool, chairman of the Committee on Religious Activities of the National Jewish Welfare Board.
