The Jewish National Fond will celebrate its 39th anniversary on Sunday. There are now 151 settlements on 525,000 dunams of JNF land, constituting 37 per cent of all Jewish holdings. They provide 60 per cent of all Jewish produced wheat, milk and eggs and the bulk of vegetables, grapes and non-citrus fruit. The JNF has planted 3,000,000 trees. It is now facilitating development of Summer resorts.
