A call to American Jews to send reinforcements in the form of funds for increased colonization and upbuilding activity in Palestine was sounded yesterday by Dr. Abba Hillel Silver, of Cleveland, chairman of the United Palestine Appeal, at a luncheon conference at the Harmonie Club, attended by more than 250 Jewish leaders who joined in organizing the Greater New York Division of the $12,000,000 campaign for Palestine.
