The Union of Orthodox Rabbis has designated Feb. 8 as “Jewish National Fund Sabbath,” and has urged synagogues to dedicate sermons and services on that day to elucidation of the tasks of the Keren Kayemeth, especially the Nachlath Herzog project, named for Palestine’s Chief Rabbi.
