A century-old Jewish infants’ school, a small synagogue and a number of Jewish homes were among the structures bombed in a recent German air raid, it was disclosed today. There were many Jewish casualties, including a family of five and a two-year-old girl who were killed.
The largest Jewish school in England was damaged by a bomb. Fortunately the pupils had been evacuated some time ago.
