Refugees Seized in Marseille Sent to French Interior

A majority of the 3,000 foreign refugees arrested in the Marseille raids last week have been sent to the interior, it was ascertained here today. A number of them have been committed to internment camps. No reasons for the arrests were given.

All inmates of the “Hotel du Levant,” which is maintained by J.D.C. funds for needy refugees, were also arrested.
