Alex F. Stanton, Philadelphia, was elected Grandmother of Order B’rith Sholom at the closing session of its 36th annual convention yesterday. Other officers include Frank E. Bernstein, Vice-Grandmother; Louis I. Kilgor, secretary; Maurice E. Cohen, treasurer; Samuel L. Einhorn, Past Grandmother.
Resolutions were adopted offering the order’s resources to the Government for national defense and condemning racial discrimination in defense industries.
