Demanding that Jews mobilized for defense work in Slovakia should not be paid at the same rate as Aryans, the Gardista, Hlinka Guard organ, today calls upon the Slovak authorities to modify the provisions of the Defense Law that stipulate equal payment for all.

The article states that there is an increasing need to employ Jews on productive work in Bratislava. Jews are being registered for employment under the National Defense Law and are receiving the same payment as all other workers.
