Young Israel branches throughout the United State will start a drive for 10,000 new members September 1st, it was announced today by Samuel H. Fromberg, president of the National Council of Young Israel. “We are starting the drive because we want to do all we can to cooperate with the government in furthering the cause of democracy,” Mr. Fromberg said.
