Jewish Agency Sets Up Department to Spur Enlistment in British Forces

A special department will be set up in the Jewish Agency for Palestine to spur Jewish enlistment in the British farces, it was reported today. The new department will cooperate with the general in seeking to the enrollments of Jewish soldiers.

Meanwhile, at a festive parade held here in Palestine” today Jewish and Arab leaders celebrated the first anniversary of the formation of the Palestine Buffs, separate Jewish and Arab combat units, which are part of the infantry are of the British forces. Among the Jewish leaders reviewing the parade were Chief Rabbi Usiel and Moshe Shertok, head of the political department of the Jewish agency.
