To help refugees from Nazism who have emigrated to South American countries achieve economic independence, and become useful residents of their new homelands, the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee is sending a member of its overseas staff there to cooperate with local leaders in the establishment of credit cooperatives and free loan banks, it was announced here today by Alexander A. Landesco, chairman of the organization’s Committee on Reconstruction Activity. Noel Aronovici, the JDC representative, left today for South America.
