Rabbi Zepin, Retiring Executive of Uahc, to Be Feted in Cincinnati

Many nationally prominent leaders of Reform Jewry will come to Cincinnati on October 18 to pay tribute at a banquet to Rabbi George Zipin who is retiring after thirty-eight years of distinguished service to Reform Judaism. Rabbi Zepin retires as Executive Secretary of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations, Director of Synagogue and School Extension, Secretary of the Commission on Synagogue Activities, and Secretary of the Commission on Jewish Education.

The banquet, in honor of Rabbi Zepin, will be presided over by Mr. Adolph Rosenberg, Chairman of the Board of the Union. Present at the banquet will be representatives of the Executive Boards of the Sisterhoods, Youth, Board of Governors and Faculty of the Hebrew Union College, members of the Central Conference of American Rabbis, and many other friends and co-workers. On October 19, the Executive Board of the Union will meet in Cincinnati, so that all members of this body can join in the tribute to their retiring executive.
