A decision to raise $100,000 for the Jewish National Fund in memory of the late M. M. Ussishkin was adopted here by the United Zionist Council of Canada. The fund, which is to be raised within the next twelve months, is to be utilized for the redemption of land in Palestine which will be named after Ussishkin.
Memorial meetings for Justice Louis D. Brandeis and M.M. Ussisnkin will be held in Canada on Sunday. The meeting in Montreal will be addressed by Judge Morris Rothenberg of New York and the meeting in Toronto will have Louis Lipsky as principal speaker.
