Nathan Gould, 52, president and editor of the Wisconsin Jewish Chronicle, died here after an illness of six months.

Born in Pittsburgh, Mr. Gould was graduated from the University of Michigan law school and practiced law in Detroit, Chicago and Milwaukee. He established Anglo-Jewish newspapers in Detroit, Kansas City and Indianapolis before founding the Wisconsin Jewish Chronicle 17 years ago and was vice-president and a contributing editor of the Kansas City Jewish Chronicle. One of the leading editorialists in the Anglo-Jewish field, Mr. Gould’s editorials were widely quoted.
