Polish Government Asks Moscow Ambassador to Intensify Search for Rabbi Schorr

The Polish Government today cabled Stanislaw Kot, its Ambassador in Moscow, asking him to intensify the investigation into the where abouts of Chief Rabbi Moses Schorr of Warsaw, former Polish-Jewish deputy Dr. Emil Sommerstein and the “Bobover Rabbi” Halberstam, who were reported as released from exile in the Russian interior some time ago. It is disclosed here today that the Polish government would like to include Rabbi Schorr as one of the Jewish representatives in the new Polish National Councila expected to be formed this week.
