British Jews May Introduce Communal Taxation to Finance Religious Education

Communal taxation may be introduced for the first time in the history of British Jewry as the result of a conference which is to be held on December 14 to discuss a plan of financing religious education, according to a report presented to the Board of Deputies of British Jews by Prof. Selig Brodetsky, its chairman.
