Rumanian Jews Ordered to Surrender Skis to Army Headquarters

Jews in Rumania have been ordered to surrender to army headquarters all skis and skiing accessories in their possession, according to the Donau Zeitung reaching here today. Severe penalties have been threatened for any Jew who does not immediately comply with the order. It is reported that the Rumanian high command will use the skis to equip Rumanian soldiers stationed in occupied Russian territory.
