General Sikorski Will Appoint Jewish Chaplains in Polish Army in Russia

The Polish premier, Gen. Wladyslaw Sikorski, has taken steps to secure the appointment of Jewish chaplains to serve with the Polish army in Russia, it was reported here today.

A special memorial service in honor of Polish soldiers who have fallen in battle was held here today by the Federation of Polish Jews. Attending the service were the chief Jewish chaplain with the Polish forces in the Middle East and high Polish officers.
