A call for intensification of religious activities by Jewish organizations during the present emergency was issued here today by the Union of American Hebrew Congregations through Mr. Adolph Rosenberg, chairman of the executive board of the Union.
“It is clear,” Mr. Rosenberg stated, “that it is urgently necessary to apply ourselves zealously to our religious activities, both locally and nationally; to support our synagogues adequately, and to give added strength to our national religious institutions.”
