More than three thousand rabbis and Talmudical students from Nazi-held European territories have found sanctuary in Palestine since the beginning of the war, according to information received today by the Federated Council of Palestine Institutions.
The Council which embraces in its program 133 independent religious, educational and welfare institutions in Palestine with a combined annual expenditure of $1,285,000, is striving to focus the attention of American Jewry on the added needs of these institutions.
