Danish authorities are keeping a close watch on the Clausenists, the Danish Nazis, in order to prevent their arranging any anti-Semitic demonstrations, it was revealed in reports reaching here today from Copenhagen.
At a Nazi meeting in the Danish capital the Clausenist staff leader Byrld complained that 600 of his followers had been imprisoned since the Nazi occupation and that 1,400 cases against them have been brought to court. He declared that Danish friendship towards Germany is only an outward pretense, while a campaign of anti-Nazi incitement continues at secret meetings and elsewhere.
