Avigdor Green, father of David Ben-Union, the Zionist leader who is now in the United States, died here yesterday at the age of 82. He was buried today at the old cemetery here with many old Zionists participating in the funeral. He was one of the active members of the Choveve Zion, the Lovers of Zion movement which played an important part in pre-Herzlisn Zionism by organizing Palestinian colonization societies in Czarist Russia where he was born.
