The prediction that there would be no organized Jewish leadership in Europe after the war, was made here last night by Dr. A. L. Sachar, national director of the Hillel Foundation, addressing the closing session of the three-day War Service Convention of district three of the B’nai B’rith attended by 700 delegates representing 20,000 members in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and West Virginia.

The Jews of America, Dr. Sachar said, were not yet prepared to take over leadership because in the past they had depended on European immigrants to furnish leadership in culture and religion. He added that B’nai B’rith was preparing for leadership, however, through its seventy-two college student foundations, which have attracted 75,000 members.
