The Jewish Publication Society of America today announced that it has published another edition of 100,000 prayer books ordered by the National Jewish Welfare Board for the use of the American servicemen of Jewish faith in the armed forces of the United States. This raises to 200,000 the number of prayer books ordered by the Jewish Welfare Board since September, 1941.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
