More than 500 former members of the New Zionist Organization today joined the Histadruth, Palestine Labor Federation, after resigning from the Revisionist-sponsored National Workers Front. Explaining their move, the workers stated that they found that there is place in Palestine for only one labor organization.
The Swedish steamer Stureborg cleared the port of Haifa for Greece, carrying 1,800 tons of foodstuffs to feed the starving population there, it was reported here today. It was the third “mercy” vessel to sail from here bearing relief to Greece.
