All Jews in Norway who bear “Aryan sounding” surnames will be forced to change their names, under a decision adopted by the Racial Department of the Quisling administration, it was reported here today.

At the same time the pro-Nazi Norwegian Government has placed all Jewish-owned businesses in the country under commissioners chosen from among the members of the Hird, the Quisling storm-troopers, the reports state. These new anti-Jewish measures follow the completion by the Racial Department of a registration of Norway’s 1,300 Jews as well as all half-Jews and quarter-Jews in the country.
