The problem of relieving the distress of the Jews in the ghettos of Poland was discussed at the 34th annual convention of the American Federation for Polish Jews, held at the Hotel Breakers here today with 400 delegates attending. Benjamin Winter, president of the organization, in submitting a program of new activities for the ensuing year, called for efforts to aid the Polish Jews in Nazi-dominated areas, establishing contact with Polish Jewish war prisoners in Germany and Polish Jewish soldiers in Libya, Asia Minor and England, of whom there are 26,000 fighting under Allied flags.

The convention was addressed by Wladyslaw Korsak, Vice-Minister of Inner Affairs in the Polish Government; Henri Torres, noted French lawyer; Dr. Wladyslaw Malinowski, leader of the Polish Labor Party, and by representatives of various national Jewish organizations in this country.
