The publication of the second in the pamphlet series “Jews and the Post-War World” was announced here today by Max Gottschalk, Director of the Research Institute on Peace and Post-War Problems of the American Jewish Committee. The work under the title “Jewish Emancipation Under Attack” was prepared by the historian Dr. Bernard Dov Weinryb.
The pamphlet contains 96 pages of text and documents. An introductory chapter by Abraham G. Duker, editor of the series, traces the attack against Jewish equality prior to the post-Versailles period. Dr. Weinryb describes the recession of Jewish emancipation between the two world wars. In addition to analyses of legislation against Jews under Axis domination, the pamphlet contains the text of 36 basic anti-Jewish laws and decrees in different countries.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
