Congressman Leland M. Ford of California, in a lengthy speech in the House of Representatives yesterday, vigorously denied the allegations that he is anti-Jewish. He pointed out that as a member of the Immigration and Naturalization Committee, he “entered special bills for the Jewish people, under special conditions, on immigration and naturalization.” He also cited a number of other cases to prove that the charges of anti-Semitism against him are baseless.
