Dr. M. Zollschan, famous Czechoslovakian Jewish anthropologist, has been elected a guest member of the Royal Anthropological Institute “for the duration,” it was announced here today.
The announcement cited Dr. Zollschan for “your work in science and anthropology, especially as regards your important contributions in the sphere of racial studies and combatting Nazi racial theories.” Speaking at the third World Jewish Congress in Geneva in August, 1934 Dr. Zollschan dared the Nazis to submit their racial theories to the judgement of a tribunal of unbiased scientists, but his challenge was never accepted.
