A nation-wide Blood Donors’ Day will be sponsored early in September, by the Mizrachi Women’s Organization of America, the national religious women’s Zionist movement, Mrs. Samuel Fasten, national defense chairman of the organization, announced today.
More than 35,000 women of the orthodox Jewish faith who are enrolled in the 175 chapters throughout the country are expected to donate their blood at their community Red Cross headquarters, Mrs. Fasten said. Registration blanks have been mailed all chapter presidents and local defense chairmen.
