The Board of Deputies of British Jews and representatives of Polish-Jewish organizations met in closed session today to discuss the problem of arranging food shipments to the ghettos of Poland through the facilities of the International Red Cross. An official statement of the proceedings will not be issued until a later date, a Board spokesman announced.

It was learned, however, that an agreement in principle has been reached on the question of the “mercy shipments” and a commission has been appointed to arrange the technical details of sending 1,000 food parcels from England every month.
