Judge Goldstein Heads Jewish Advisory Committee on Scouting

The appointment of Judge Jonah Goldstein of the Court of General Sessions as chairman of the Metropolitan Jewish Advisory Committee on Scouting was announced yesterday by William H. Poueh, president of the Boy Scout Foundation of Greater New York.

Judge Goldstein was selected for the post by the National Jewish Committee on Scouting, of which Frank L. Weil, president of the Jewish Welfare Board, is chairman. Judge Goldstein succeeds Mr. Weil as head of the metropolitan group. In his chambers in the Criminal Court Building, Judge Goldstein conferred yesterday with a number of the men who will work with him in the promotion of scouting in Jewish institutions.
