Quisling Government Speeds Introduction of Anti-jewish Laws in Norway

The special “Racial Committee” established by the Quisling government in Norway has been instructed to speedily prepare drafts of sweeping anti-Jewish laws, it was reliably reported here today.

Hitherto, anti-Jewish activities in Norway have been conducted without any legal basis and have been enforced by the strong-arm men of the Hird, the Quisling storm troopers. With the enactment of official anti-Semitic legislation, the Norwegian Nazis will be in a position to intensify their anti-Jewish activities without any legal barriers, it was pointed out here. The same report also stated that all Jewish-owned shops in Trondheim have already been confiscated.
