President Rafael L. Trujiill, today named David J. Schweitzer, a member of the Board of Directors of the Dominican Republic Settlement Association, honorary Consul of the Dominican Republic in the United States. Mr. Schweitzer, who for more than two years supervised the colonisation of Jewish refugees in the Dominican Republic, left last week for New York.
