An application from the first “Aryan” to volunteer for enlistment in a Jewish army, was received here today by the Anglo-American Committee for a Jewish Army.

A Rumanian scientist, whose name cannot be divulged, wrote that he would like to join a Jewish force when it is formed “to atone as far as possible for the sins of my nation. Having associated with Jews since childhood, I would consider it a privilege to fight with them against the common enemy.”
