A special concentration camp for Jews has been established in Vichy-controlled Morocco by Gen. Nogues, the French governor, it was reported here today by the German Transocean News Agency.

Tens of thousands of Jews are already in this camp, the Nazi report revealed. Other reports reaching here today from Morocco stated that German agents there are conducting a whispering campaign alleging that there are 300,000 Jews in Morocco today, while actually the Jewish population in Morocco hardly exceeds 150,000.

The elimination of Jews from various branches of commerce in Morocco under the French anti-Jewish laws has seriously disrupted the colony’s economy, one of the reports discloses. Almost all Jewish-owned and controlled firms now have Moroccan Moslems or non-Jewish Frenchmen as directors and managers.
