The Rumanian Government today published a list of 14,000 persons, mostly Jews, who have been deprived of their citizenship “because they joined the Russians when the Soviet troops retreated from Bessarabia,” the Bucharest radio announced.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
