Jews in Algeria Deprived of Citizenship; Limited Exceptions Announced

The Vichy radio today announced that citizenship for Jews in Algeria has been limited by a special decree to holders of military medals and of the order of the Legion of Honor. Other Jews entitled to citizenship, under this degree, are those proving that they are parents, widows or orphans of soldiers who died for France.
