A pro-Jewish ”Star of David Organization,” organized by anti-Nazi Christians is now functioning in occupied Belgium for the purpose of rescuing and storing Torahs in Belgian cities which are becoming ”Judenrein” as a result of deportation of the Jewish population by the Nazi occupational authorities, it was reported, here today.

A reliable report from Nazi-held Holland states that 58-year old Chief Rabbi Lodewijk Sarlouis of Amsterdam and Max Bolle, secretary of the Amsterdam Jewish Council, have ”left Amsterdam with their families.” They are believed to have been deported to Poland.
